Danish fashion brand Samsøe Samsøe, which blends Scandinavian simplicity with Copenhagen's street style in its designs, has signed a remarkable collaboration with Eastpak.
Samsøe Samsøe, which has been established in streetwear with its minimalist vision since 1993, rolled up its sleeves with Eastpak for a special capsule collection for accessible street style, at the intersection of functionality and simplicity.
Heavy-Duty 420D fabric used in the products in this 100% vegan collection forms the basis of the collaboration. The models, offered in two color options: blue and black, contain functional elements that make you feel minimalist monochrome with their stylish and contemporary lines. This collection, consisting of six models, reinterprets classic Eastpak models with common brand logos and special details.
The collection's striking campaign visuals are created by three well-known names from the Scandinavian countries: Jun Andersen, founder and creative director of the Copenhagen-based upcycle fashion brand JKA, Swedish-American Charlotte Manning, who is passionate about fashion, writing and social change, and founder of the Copenhagen-based Ciel Cycling Club. Lucas Berny is committed to making industries more local and sustainable.
It is noteworthy that the streets and parks of Copenhagen, the famous 2 km-long bicycle path designed like a mini viaduct, and vibrantly colored spaces were used in the shots taken with the 360° camera.
The collection includes a functional waist bag, a reinterpreted version of the classic Eastpak bag with minimal lines, and new models.
