Small Esplar Winter Fured Suede Kids Sneakers

Winter version of the VEJA Small Esplar Suede model with fleece inside, designed for the winter season. ESPLAR, named in memory of the Brazilian NGO with which VEJA has been working together since 2005, supports organic agriculture and family farming in the Nordeste region.

Suede is produced from the underside of cowhide from farms in southern Brazil, which has been pre-brushed to make it softer and more flexible. Tanned in Brazil without the use of any hazardous or banned chemicals. VEJA uses conventional paints that comply with regulations. Particular attention is paid to the use of water during the tanning process. Suede is also coated with waterproof oils that do not contain PFCs (chemical compounds) to protect sneakers from light rain.
