The cowhide used in the V-12 Leather model, which is among VEJA's iconic models with its silhouette suitable for every style , and tanned in Brazil in accordance with REACH norms, comes from farms in Uruguay, known for its animal husbandry culture and leather quality. Particular attention is paid to the use of water during the tanning process.

The suede used in the V-12 Leather model is made from the underside of cowhide that has been pre-brushed to make it softer and more flexible. They are also coated with water-repellent oils that do not contain PFCs (chemical compounds) to protect the sneakers from light rain.
