CWL is a vegan alternative to leather. It consists of 100% organic cotton canvas coated with PU resin, corn starch and ricinus oil and is 54% bio-based. This fabric from São Paulo State in Jacareí is a 100% vegan synthetic and an alternative to animal suede. It is a non-woven fabric made of microfibers needle-punched and impregnated with PU resin. This solvent-free process is less toxic than those used in the production of classic synthetic suedes.
