Mercado Edition #6 - Feeding Tomorrow

The word Mercado, which means “public market, market” in Spanish, has a deeper meaning beyond being a shopping area used by local people; They are socialization areas where the city's best local products are sold and there are boutique branches of famous restaurants.

With the desire to create a digital "Mercado" that brings together talented designers and artists who can inspire everyone, this "Mercado", where many special people and their projects will take place, will also feed the hunger for creative experiences in a time where design and art will come together to spite those who say that the world is getting worse. It was established to lead people united with its power.

On the one hand, there is the inexorably increasing human population, and on the other hand, rapidly depleting resources. How successful is the human race, which has a great ambition to shape its future, in providing nutrition, its most basic need?

From sustainable food and beverage systems to the experience-oriented gastronomy sector, from data-fed artificial intelligence to intellectual nourishment, inspiring names and projects are in our Feeding Tomorrow edition. Mercan Dede, who feeds on his roots, Mehmet Gürs & Cemre Torun, who pursue Good Food, Hakan Sorar, who visualizes the "Fantasy Food" of 5 inspiring names in the gastronomy sector (Maksut Aşkar, Elif Boyner, Tanrı Konuki, Emirhan Paralı, Emir Yarın) with artificial intelligence, Black Almanac, which questions the food systems of the future, Kerem Ozan Bayraktar, Tunca, Berkok Yüksel, Mehmet Gözetlik, Selim Cenkel, Pınar Karasu, Cooking Sections, The Best Selection and many more are waiting for Mercado readers.
